A Spanish animal handler was left with genuine chest and head wounds in the wake of being battered by a 440-pound gorilla who got through three security entryways, as per authorities.
The 46-year-old guardian was serving breakfast at the Madrid Zoo Aquarium Sunday when she was amazed by 29-year-old extraordinary chimp Malabo in what ought to have been a safe territory, authorities disclosed to Agence France-Presse (AFP).
“The zoo group figured out how to isolate the creature from her and later, a veterinary group anesthetized it with a sedative dart,” the zoo said.
“The creature was taken to its pen where it is quiet,” the zoo said of Malabo, who was raised there since birth and is regularly “near his parental figures.”
The laborer — who was not recognized however had worked there 19 years — endured head and chest wounds just as two broken arms, and stays in genuine condition in a medical clinic, as per AFP.
Police and the zoo said they were examining how the gorilla had the option to enter the fenced in area, which is secured with a triple entryway.
