President Trump on Thursday excused a previous associate to Vice President Mike Pence, Olivia Troye, as somebody who might have been “let go” — impugning her after she cut a promotion saying she underpins Democratic presidential up-and-comer Joe Biden.
“I simply caught wind of that, I don’t have any acquaintance with her. She worked for the VP,” Trump told columnists as he withdrew the White House for a convention in Wisconsin, as per a pool report.
Trump said that Troye composed a “wonderful letter” upon her flight in August, regardless of the way that she was ended.
“Mike Pence came to me, educated me regarding her [when] she left. They let her go, with cause, however they let her go, and afterward she composed a lovely letter, as I get it, a letter commending the organization. Yet, at that point, the individuals get hold of her, and state, suppose some terrible things about Donald Trump,” he said.
Trump included, “I never met her apparently, perhaps she was in a room. I have no clue about what her identity is. She doesn’t have any acquaintance with me.”
Troye filled in as a counsel to the White House Covid team and reprimanded Trump’s treatment of the COVID-19 pandemic in a video for Republican Voters Against Trump.
