Texas Democratic Congressman Henry Cuellar got down on President Biden for not visiting the US-Mexico border himself and said a new visit from a White House assignment was lacking.
“Any president should descend [and] truly invest energy with border networks. You know, the president sent an appointment and a lot of people from the White House,” the nine-term Congressman told News. “They didn’t converse with anyone, not even individuals from Congress down here.”
