KAWS has given a canvas esteemed at $250,000 to benefit the Free Arts NYC, which gives craftsmanship projects and tutoring to adolescents in underserved networks over the city.
The artist — regarded by stars like Travis Scott, Kim Kardashian and Drake — shared the news to his Instagram this week with a photograph of the composition, stating, “I have given this work of art to help Free Arts NYC… It will be offered to the public through sweepstakes.”
We’re advised KAWS had the plan to give away the piece, which includes his celebrated “What Party” figure painted with acrylic on canvas.
Members can enter to win the sweepstakes a boundless measure of times.
“Free Arts NYC is an imaginative expressions association focused on lifting up the up and coming age of artists. As a victor of our main goal, KAWS has facilitated studio visits and workmanship making workshops for our childhood throughout the long term,” Founder and Executive Director of Free Arts NYC Liz Hopfan told on Tuesday.
“2020 has expected everybody to think innovatively and as we envisioned better approaches to propel our main goal, this extraordinary pledge drive woke up,” she proceeded. “On account of KAWS’ proceeded with help and liberal gift, we can offer a once in a blue moon opportunity to win this artwork for $100!”
All returns will legitimately uphold the philanthropic. The champ will be chosen aimlessly in October.
