INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana Republican Gov. Eric Holcomb and first woman Janet Holcomb are isolating after a few individuals from his security detail tried positive for COVID-19, his office reported Tuesday.
State Health Commissioner Dr. Kris Box encouraged Holcomb and the main woman to isolate starting Tuesday. They are viewed as close contacts to the security detail and will be tried for COVID-19 in the not so distant future, his office said.
The Indiana State Department of Health will perform contact following for the Holcombs and the security detail.
Holcomb, 52, tried negative for COVID-19 a month ago after Box declared she was contaminated.
