Long Island’s Nassau Coliseum is set to turn into a vaccination site in the not so distant future, County Executive Laura Curran reported Saturday.
“We’re centered around proceeding to increase our ability for vaccination as more inventory is expected to show up in the coming weeks,” Curran said in an explanation.
“The entirety of our occupants should approach the COVID-19 vaccine, and this notable site will enable us to convey the vaccine quickly,” she added.
Curran didn’t say on which day the site will start offering vaccination arrangements.
The news comes as the Jacob Javits Center in Manhattan and CitiField and Yankee Stadium started conveying vaccinations to the public short-term.
