100 homes evacuated in the San Francisco Bay Area after fuel tanker overturned

Around 100 homes have been emptied in the San Francisco Bay Area later a fuel big hauler toppled almost immediately Christmas Eve and leaked gasoline, authorities said.

Photos from the scene in Fremont, California, show the tanker upside-down and seeming to have collided with a divider along Interstate 680.

The freeway’s headed northward paths are relied upon to be shut for quite a long time as teams work to stack the excess fuel onto another big hauler and become the toppled one upstanding as per the Fremont Fire Department.

The homes were evacuated because of the smell of gas and inhabitants are being protected at a public works yard.

There were no prompt reports of injuries.

The crash happened in the East Bay district around 30 miles (48 kilometers) south of Oakland.
