Best Celebrities like Taylor Swift and Maren Morris at the ACM Awards 2020

Wednesday’s 2020 ACM Awards in Nashville, Tenn., may have come up short on a live crowd, yet makers actually figured out how to pull off an honorary pathway in spite of the Covid pandemic. And keeping in mind that some of down home music’s authoritative big names appeared in their garish best, others adopted a more easygoing strategy with their outfits, settling on denim over dresses.

Here, read the night’s best-dressed stars.

Before making that big appearance at the Grand Ole Opry to play out her “Fables” track “Betty,” Taylor Swift postured for the cameras in a long-sleeved sequin top, camel jeans and chain-tie heels, all from Stella McCartney. Rather than working with her standard beautician and glitz crew for the event, Swift decided to style herself and do her own hair and cosmetics for the night.

Miranda Lambert brought a portion of Dolly Parton glitz to the procedures in a blue bordered Western-style shirt, adorned denim and blinged-out belt. Yeehaw!

Female Artist of the Year candidate and entertainer Kelsea Ballerini shimmered in a sequined and panther spotted number from Raisa Vanessa, alongside coordinating Western-style booties.

Carrie Underwood acknowledged her Entertainer of the Year grant – which she imparted to Thomas Rhett, in an astonishing tie – wearing a belted and clasped rainbow-sequined outfit that was equivalent amounts of princess-y and troublemaker.

Lily Aldridge, who introduced Group of the Year to Old Dominion during the show, glanced flawless in Proenza Schouler.

New Female Artist of the Year champ Tenille Townes carried disco to Nashville with her copper Michael Costello jumpsuit.

Maren Morris brought home both the Female Artist of the Year and Music Event of the Year grants, and wore two distinct outfits – our most loved of which was this plunging dark Versace midi dress with tropical embellishments, a gold chain belt and neon siphons.

Florida Georgia Line’s Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard, two of the best-dressed men in blue grass music, composed in khaki and denim. Kelley wore custom Stetson, while Hubbard wore Dolce and Gabbana.

Pregnant entertainer Mickey Guyton was exquisite and gleaming in a white off-the-shoulder outfit with a thigh-high cut.
