A Boston specialist endured a genuine hypersensitive response to Moderna’s Covid vaccine, the first of its sort archived, a report said Friday.
Dr. Hossein Sadrzadeh, a geriatric oncologist at Boston Medical Center, became woozy and felt his heart dashing minutes in the wake of accepting the vaccine on Thursday, he told Media.
“It was the very anaphylactic response that I experience with shellfish,” Dr. Sadrzadeh told the paper, noticing that his tongue became numb, his pulse plunged and he broke into a virus sweat.
“I don’t need anyone to experience that.”
Sadrzadeh self-controlled an EpiPen he acquired the occasion of such a response, and was released following a concise trauma center assessment, the report said.
