Four dozen people aboard a Royal Caribbean cruise ship tested positive for coronavirus

Four dozen individuals on board a Royal Caribbean cruise ship tried positive for Covid when they got back to Miami on Saturday following a seven-day journey, a report said.

Everything except one of those infected on the Symphony of the Seas was completely vaccinated, the cruise line said in an assertion, and all patients isolated after the positive outcomes, news revealed.

“Everyone who tested positive was asymptomatic or had mild symptoms, and we continuously monitored their health,” Royal Caribbean said in a statement to the outlet.

The ship had 6,091 travelers and headed out on Dec. 11. 95% of everybody on board – including guests and crew members – were completely vaccinated.

Regal Caribbean said all crew members are completely vaccinated and the cruise line requires visitors more than 12 years of age to likewise be completely vaccinated.

Unvaccinated children under 12 are required to obtain two negative test results before boarding.
